Ask

Questions to ask Arkesel

Ask every finalist the same questions, then run a small TEST send with each.

  1. 01

What is the current Ghana unit rate, and how are Unicode messages billed?

  2. 02

Does a retry with the same request create a duplicate SMS, or is there an idempotency key?

  3. 03

How do client accounts pay — from my balance or their own?

  4. 04

What delivery states can I read per message?

  5. 05

Is there a TEST mode with simulated numbers?

Switch

Moving from Arkesel to Taysend

  1. 01

Create a Taysend account and copy a TEST key. Send to a simulated number and open the message id.

  2. 02

Request your sender ID in the console. LIVE waits until it is approved, so request it before you switch traffic.

  3. 03

Export your contact lists as CSV and import them as Taysend lists.

  4. 04

Point your backend at POST /v1/messages with a Bearer key and an Idempotency-Key. Keep the old provider live until Taysend LIVE is approved.

  5. 05

Top up a GHS bundle, send a small LIVE batch, and compare delivery reports before moving all traffic.

FAQ

Straight answers

If something here is product behaviour, it matches the dashboard and the API.

01Can agencies move clients one at a time?+

Yes. Onboard each client from your Taysend console. They get their own login and wallet, so you can move them on their own schedule.

02Do clients pay through my account?+

No. Each Taysend client has its own prepaid wallet and tops up themselves. Creating a client does not move GHS from your balance.
