01Can a school send SMS with its own name?+
Yes. Request a sender ID of 3–11 characters, for example the school's short name. LIVE sends wait until it is approved. Unapproved LIVE senders are rejected.
02How much does it cost to text 800 parents?+
A one-segment GSM-7 message is one billed unit at GHS 0.04, so 800 parents is about GHS 32. Long messages or Unicode characters use more units — check in the cost calculator first.
03Do parents need an app?+
No. It is a normal SMS on MTN, Telecel, or AT. It works on any phone.
